What is the Environ Step-Up System®?

Environ’s Step-Up System is a gradual, science-backed approach to introducing increasing levels of vitamin A and other active ingredients into the skin. It was designed to help the skin adapt slowly and safely to powerful anti-aging ingredients — especially vitamin A, which is essential for skin health but can cause irritation if introduced too quickly.

Why it’s important:

	•	Vitamin A is the cornerstone of healthy, youthful skin — but high doses can cause dryness, redness, or sensitivity if your skin isn’t prepared.

	•	The Step-Up System allows your skin to build tolerance over time, leading to better long-term results with minimal disruption.

Environ Skin EssentiA® (AVST) Step-Up System

The AVST moisturisers (1–5) combine low to gradually increasing levels of vitamin A, along with antioxidants and peptides, in one easy-to-use daily moisturiser.

How it works:

	•	You start with AVST 1, which contains a mild form of vitamin A (Retinyl Palmitate) to condition your skin.

	•	Once your skin is used to that level (typically after 1–2 bottles), you move on to the next level.

	•	Each level contains a slightly higher concentration of vitamin A and antioxidants, helping improve skin texture, tone, hydration, and firmness over time.
